2024 Enrollment Process

Every year families must enroll their students into Geary County Schools USD 475. There are a variety of influences that cause families to enroll in different manners. If you are returning, you are registered but not enrolled. Please answer the questions below to guide you through the enrollment process. You will need to use this for each student you are enrolling.

New Student Enrollment

Below you will find links for new-student enrollment information specific to the elementary, middle and high schools.

To find out which school your child will be attending use the following website: Infofinder.

Type in your home address and the correct school will appear along with bus route information. 

Parents/Guardians Additional Items

  • Activity fees may be included at the time of enrollment or during the school year. Refer to the family handbook for more information.
     

  • The Application for Free and Reduced Price Meals is available on Skyward Family Access. It also can be downloaded from the child nutrition page below. Hard copies are also available at the Devin Center. Completed applications should be turned in to your child’s school.

  • USD 475 students who would like to attend a school outside their boundary area must obtain a transfer form from the school they would like to attend. This must be done every year and approved by the principal.
     
  • To make additions or corrections to your child’s emergency contact information, visit your school’s office. Contact information should be kept up to date in Family Access/Skyward.
     
  • Returning Students can enroll online through Skyward. New Student Enrollment can be done online or at the school once buildings are open. For questions about enrollment, call 785-717-4000.
